Privacy policy

This policy explains how Ouirgane Travel & Tour processes the personal data collected on this website, in accordance with Moroccan Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and, for the visitors concerned, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data we collect

• Booking requests: name, email address, phone number, chosen activity, preferred date and time of day, number of participants, special requests, preferred contact method and language.
• Contact form: name, email, phone, subject, message and, where provided, activity, date and number of participants.
• Newsletter: email address, language and date of consent.
• Technical data: a non-reversible fingerprint (hash) of your IP address is kept to prevent abuse and automated submissions.

Purposes

This data is used only to process your requests, reply to you, organise booked activities, send you the emails related to your request and, if you have confirmed it, send you our newsletter.

Recipients and processors

Your data can be accessed by authorised members of our team. Where necessary, the strictly required information is shared with the local providers who run the activity (guide, host family, muleteer, riding or water-activity provider). We use technical processors: database hosting (MongoDB Atlas), email delivery (Brevo), and website and image hosting (web host and Cloudinary). We never sell your data.

Retention

Booking requests and messages are kept for as long as needed to handle them, then archived for a period limited to our legal obligations and the handling of possible claims. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, object to and delete your data and, where applicable, to restrict its processing and to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us through the contact page. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNDP (Morocco) or the data protection authority of your country.
